Judy Mitchell

Judy Ann Mitchell, 75, of Chattanooga died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1938 to the late Arthur L. Williams and Mildred Jones Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee E. Mitchell; two sons Robert Gilbert and Michael Mithcell; daughter Diane Burson; grandson Ted Burson; two brother Frank Williams and Joe WIlliams; and a sister Sue Williams. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. Mrs. Mitchell worked as a floral designer in the Chattanooga area for many years. Survivors include her children Debbie Gilbert, Donnie Gilbert, Vikki Brock, and Tim Mitchell; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren; brothers Gene Williams and Jim Jones; sisters Kay Jones, Sandy Hardin, and Faye Mobley; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Taylor and Randy Harden officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
