Betsy Claridy

Betsy Jane Claridy, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist Faith. Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Wilson and Nancy Catherine Randolph Claridy; sisters, Nancy Brooks and Kathy Bridges; and brother, David Claridy. She is survived by her sisters, Louise (Stanley) Arnold, Candy (Roger) Hurst and Giselle (Lamar) Buckner; brothers, Lionel (Susie) Claridy, Russell Claridy, and Thomas (Chrisie) Claridy; special niece, Bonnie Claridy Hoskins; and several more nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Christopher Claridy and the Rev. Roger DeHart officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, AL. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. today until the service time. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
