Carl Smothers

Carl Anthony Smothers, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Smothers had worked at US Pipe and Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Anthony and Kattie Lee Justus Smothers, sister, Yvonnia Smith, brothers, John and Wayne Smothers. Survivors include, wife, Willidean Dalton Smothers; daughter, Charlotte Johnson Clark (Dan); grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Amy Crespo and Thomas Clark; great-grandchildren, Maddie Johnson, Kalli and Sophia Crespo; brother, Don Smothers; sisters, Marquetia Casey (Floyd), Arbutice Smith. Funeral services are today, at 11 a.m. at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Calvin Nunley officiating. Burial to follow in New Cannan cemetery.
