Thomas Paris

Rev. Thomas C. Paris departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013. He was born Feb. 18, 1934 in Hooker, Ga., to the Thomas Murphy and Georgia Roberts Paris. He was a lifetime member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he served in many capacities. He served as Pastor Emeritus for several years until his health failed him. He was employed by U.S. Pipe and Foundry for 15 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bobbie Kelly Paris and four daughters; Loretta (Bill) Reynolds, Whitwell, Tenn. , Georgia (Donald Roach, Gainesville, GA, Denise (Tom) Jackson, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Vickie Paris, Jasper, Tenn.; five grandchildren; one sister, Sue Evelyn Partridge; sisters-in-law, Peggy Martin and Marva Westmoreland; brothers-in-law, Byron (Clara) Keely and Tyrone (Linda) Kelly and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will held Friday, Nov. 29, from 6-8 p.m. CST. Funeral services will held on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. CST, in the Tate Funeral Home Chapel, Jasper, TN.
