Andrew Broomfield, 86, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at JMS Burned Center in Augusta, Ga.He was born on March 23, 1927.He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 30 years, Arma Jean Broomfield; children, Andrea Barnes, Gwen Warren and Andrew (Murriell) Broomfield, Atlanta, Ga., Allison Childress, Janet (James) Sturkey, Denise Childress, Tabatha (Maurice) Edwards and Jennifer Greenhill; stepchildren, Eric Reed, Audrenna (Mack) Johnson, Kelcey (Lisa) Reed; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; uncle, Dave (Alice) Jackson, Detroit, Mich.; aunt, Majorie Morrison, Chicago, Ill.; brother-in-law, Rev. Willie (Diane) White; nieces, nephews and friends.Services will be held noon Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Pilgrim Rock with Pastor Timmy Sykes officiating.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
