Allen Rhoades

STEVENSON Allen Ray Rhoades, Sr., 68, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.He had lived most of his life in the Cleveland, Tenn. area and was a member of Covenant Promise Church in Cleveland. He was previously employed with McKee Bakery and Collegedale Case Works. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Elsie Rhoades; wife, Annette Magdalene Rhoades; and brother, John Rhoades.Survivors include his two children, Allen Ray (Staci) Rhoades Jr., of Stevenson, and Patricia Rogers, of East Ridge; four sisters, Della Jackson, of Ooltewah, Judy Mayrose, of Georgetown, Tenn., Sandy Reed, of Ohio and Emma Holt, of Hixson; three brother, James Rhoades and Doug Rhoades, both of Georgetown, Tenn., and Jeff Rhoades, of Apison, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jeremy Rich, Jared Rhoades, Caleb Rhoades, Keegan Rogers and Sheeanne Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Ken Ellidge officiating.Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.The family will begin receiving friends after noon today and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by W.L.
