TRENTON Frances Irene "Nanny" West, 84, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.She will be forever remembered as a very caring and loving person who would always be there for her family and friends. She loved going to Thursday flea market in Trenton. She was of the Baptist faith.Frances was born Dec. 14, 1928 to the late Harley and Julia Conger Welch and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim West; sister, Marie Strickland; brothers, Gene Welch, Leon Welch and Bobby Welch.Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Melvin Bradford; Saundra Poe and Mary and Larry Moore; grandchildren, Chris Bradford, Daphne Murdock, Misty Tierce, Larry Moore, Robin Stallings and Wendy Kernea; great-grandchildren Lindy Bradford, Chase Bradford, Zach Murdock, Zane Murdock, Gavin Tierce, Olivia Tierce, Grayson Stallings, Reagan Stallings, Cooper Stallings, Trey Kernea, Meghan Kernea and Caitlyn Kernea; brothers, Alton Welch, Bill Welch and Leonard Welch; special family, Tommy and Michelle Moore; Garrett Moore, Hannah Moore and Abby Moore; many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT today, Oct. 8, 2013, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Cantrell and family members officiating.Interment will be held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care of our mother.Please leave your memories and prayers at www.moorefuneralhometrenton.com.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.
