Katherine Walker

SPRINGCITY Katherine Clack Walker, 77, died Saturday Oct. 12, 2013 at the Spring City Care Center. Born in Rhea Co., Katherine was the daughter of the late William Baxter and Cleo Sue West Clack. Katherine graduated from Spring City High School and was a member of the O.E. S. Chapter #110 in Indiana where she had served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Spring City.Katherine loved the Lord, her family, little children and little dogs; especially, her two little dogs Pipsi and Muppett.Survivors include her husband of 59 years Billy Ray Walker, of Spring City; son Kelvin (Cheryl) Walker, of Ballwin, MO; daughter Susan (Brian) Moller, of Hixson, Tenn.; sister Margaret (George) Lennen and brother Robert "Bob" Clack, both of Spring City; grandchildren Christopher, Daniel and Melissa Walker, Brittany Day and Baxter Hickman; one great-grandson James Ray Hickman; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Tuesday Oct. 15, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and the Rev. Rusty Revis officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.We would like to thank all of the girls who cared for her in the Lantern Memory Care Unit at Morning Pointe in Hixson and Spring City Care Center.
