Jimmie LedfordJimmie Lou Ledford, 89, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at a local health care facility. She was a member of Oakwood Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from Sears after many years of service.Jimmie was a sitter for the elderly for many years and she was an avid quilter.She was preceded in death by her parents Albion and Emma Martin; husband, John Lee Ledford; daughter Jennifer Tullis; sisters, Zelma Rowden, Jewell Watkins and Stella Butler.Surviving relatives: Twin sister, Tommye Sue Lucas, of East Ridge, Tenn., and sister Pansy Wood, of Chattanooga; Grandchildren, Heather Middleton (Devin) Winston, of East Ridge, Tenn., and Travis (Amber) Middleton, of Flintstone, Ga.; Great-grandchildren, Mallorye, Courtland, Conner and Carson and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Butler and George Wallace, officiating.
