Charlotte Louise Clayton Whitmire, 68, of Signal Mountain, died at her home Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.Mrs. Whitmire was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Whitmire; parents, Chester and Mary Louise Rigsby Clayton; son, Timothy Whitmire; daughter, Mary Jo Whitmire; brother, Donnie Clayton; sister, Sue Hamilton.Survivors include, daughters, Cindy (Steve) Johnson, Teresa (Bobby Nolan) Clark, both of Signal Mountain; son, Greg (Melissa) Whitmire, Loudon, Tenn.; brother, Alten Clayton, Soddy-Daisy; six grandchildren, Skip, Missy, Andy, Josh, Nichole and Jenna; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be noon CDT Wednesday in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mickey Whitmire officiating.Burial in Fairmount Cemetery.Visitation: 4-8 p.m. CDT today.Arrangements by Ewton Funeral Home, 6936 Highway 28, Dunlap, TN 37327 www.ewtonfunera1home.com (423-949-2112).
