Clyde Williams

Clyde Williams, 64, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was of Baptist faith. Clyde was a graduate of Howard High School and served his country in the US Army.He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sophronia Williams; brothers, James Murphy and Theodore Williams.Survivors include, Children, Marques (Christy) Williams, Sonya (Jeremy) Boston, of Chattanooga, Adrienne (Godfrey) Durham, of Maryland, Yolanda (Byrd) Tripp, of Virginia; Sisters, Annette Beeman and Willena Smith; Brothers, Eddie Williams and Charles (Frances) Williams, of Chattanooga; Hosts of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, Special Friend Velma Patton.Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 1:30 p.m. at National Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Chaney officiating.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 68 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
