CLEVELAND James L. "Jimmy" McCulley, 85, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. He was of the Christian faith. He was a world traveler but loved the United States the best. He was retired from Dupont. Mr. McCulley was the son of the late James T. McCulley and Lillie Ballard McCulley; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Allen McCulley; and his sister, Dorothy Higgins.Survivors include his daughter, Susan Houston, of Chesterfield, Va.; close and special friend, Sharon Lynn Puckett, of Cleveland and her daughter, Jeanne Griffith and husband, Tim, of Cleveland; Sharon's son, Bob Puckett, of Cleveland; grandchildren by choice: Jacob Griffith, Jaclyn Griffith, Keelie Puckett and Cade Puckett; one brother, Gene McCulley and wife, Ruby, of Cleveland; one sister, Shirley Bailey, of Greenville, S.C.; nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Ron Puckett officiating.
