Lee Roy Johnson, 74, of Georgetown went to be with the Lord of Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 from his earthly home. He was a member of Gamble Road Baptist Church.He was employed with the City of Chattanooga for 29 years working for the Chattanooga Public School System.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Felton and Lennie B. Johnson.He is survived by his son, Mark Johnson, and his fiance, Misty Mayton, of Birchwood; three brothers, Robert Johnson, of Robertsdale, Ala., Granville "Mary" Johnson, of Monroe, Ga., and Franklin "Norma" Johnson, of Hixson; two sisters, Loraine Elrod, of Chattsworth, Ga., and Betty Griffin, of Rossville, Ga.; granddaughter, Brittany Mayner; three grandchildren, Kala, Abby and Braden Mayner; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.comThe funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
