Norma Griffey

Norma Jean Griffey, 82, of East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013. She was born Oct. 8 , 1930 in Hamilton County a daughter of the late John Wesley Brewer and Della Mae Johnson Brewer. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Griffey; a daughter Melissa Jean Moses; and a son Johnny Griffey. She attended Spring Creek Road Baptist Church.Survivors include grandchildren Trista Moses, Amanda Spencer, Scott Griffey and John Griffey; great grandchildren Melissa Penland, Kathryn Penland, Orion Spencer, David Spencer, Katlin Spencer, Kayla Griffey and Spencer Griffey.Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
