Sr.Howard Sylvester Spann Sr., formerly of Chattanooga, departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, in Bronx, N.Y.He was born to Vernon Edward Spann and Margaret Daniel on June 10, 1949.He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Adreia Yvonne Spann; and children, Tesha (Lorenzo) Winslow, Tasha (Donald) McCall, Tameeka Spann and Howard Spann Jr.; five grandchildren; sisters, Rubye (Myron) Favors and Claudette Hamilton; sister-in-law, Deatrice (Brian) Craddock; brother-in-law, Aston L. (Janice) Alexander; stepfather, Aston Alexander; special brother, Gerald "Cowboy" Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens.The body will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.Arrangements by John P.
