Sara Nedeau

Sara Elizabeth Nedeau, 36, of Harrison, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday Sept. 7, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer.Sara was born in Lansing, Mich., on Oct. 22, 1975 to Dale Jr. and Carolyn Munson. Sara graduated from Loma Linda Academy in Loma Linda, Calif., in 1994. Sara married Bryant Nedeau on July 13, 1996 in Hagerstown, Md. After relocating several times the couple settled in the Chattanooga area in 2009.Prior to her illness Sara was the administrative assistant at The Honors Golf Course in Ooltewah. Sara was an active member at Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison. Sara volunteered in numerous ways and loved singing in the choir. Sara was also an active member on the Board of Directors for SPARC of Chattanooga where she enjoyed helping those with physical disabilities participate in sports activities.Sara is survived by her husband, Bryant Nedeau and her three children, Kyle Douglas Nedeau 16; Allison Paige Nedeau 15; and Abigail Elaine Nedeau 12. Sara is also survived by one sister, Michelle McCorry, of Lansing Mich.; and three brothers, Doug Munson, of Kalamazoo Mich.; Dale Munson III, of Deerfield Wis.; and Rodney Munson,, of Knoxville; as well as one niece and six nephews.A celebration of life service will be held in Sara's honor at Bayside Baptist Church at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10.You are encouraged to share a memory of Sara and/or your personal condolences with her family by visiting her memorial web page and guestbook at www.companionfunerals.com.Companion Fuenral Home and the Cody family are honored to assist the Nedeau family with these arrangements.
