Sandra Faye Howard Reed, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, in Hospice Care Center.She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Earlene Howard; and daughter, Lafayshia Applings.Survivors include husband, Calvin Reed; sons, Duchorn Howard and Marshae Haggins; 13 granchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Nathaniel (Andrilla) Howard and Glen (Sharan) Howard, all of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Freddie (Jerry) Sparks, of Chattanooga; uncles, Joseph (Shirley) Perdue and Mr. and Mrs. William Fitts; aunt, Alice Howard, all of Birmingham, Ala.; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.The body will lie-in-state after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday with the funeral to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor J.E. Vernon as the eulogist.Burial: Ruth Cofer Cemetery.
