RINGGOLD William "Bill" Murray Watson, 65, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at his residence.A resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area most of his life, he lived a few years in Box Springs, Ga. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served two tours in Germany and one tour in Vietnam, a former driver for U.S. Express where he worked for 12 years, and was of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his parents, EM "Jack" and Velma "Midge" Vandergriff Watson; and sister, Paulette Watson.Bill is survived by his wife, Deloris Holt Watson, of Ringgold; three sons, Steve (Sandy) Watson, of Box Springs, Ga., Terry Watson of Ringgold and Rodney (Elaine) Watson, of Buford, Ga.; sister, Bridgett (Ray) Singleton, of Chattanooga; two brothers, Jackie (Debbie) Watson and Mark Watson, both of Chattanooga; five granddaughters, Stephenie (Will) Kisor, Kristina Bullard, Kirsten Watson, Ali Watson and Anna Watson; three grandsons, Stephen Watson, Kaleb Watson and Garett Pinson; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Kisor, several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. today at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jamie Chant officiating.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
