ROSSVILLE Claude H. Brown, 59, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at his residence.He was a native of Soddy-Daisy, and had lived in the Chattanooga and Rossville area for most of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator having worked for G.W. Swanson for many years and most recently with Brown Brothers Construction. His passions in life were his family and his work.He was preceded in death by his son, Teddy Brown; brothers, Charles, Johnny and Ed Brown.Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Charlene Brown; son, Claude Anthony Brown; two grandchildren, Dianne Duncan and Damon Brown; brother, William R. Brown; sisters, Margaret Hale, Mary Tucker and Sandy Nickhes; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the South Crest Chapel.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and Friday at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
