William Houlk Sr.

William Lebron Houlk Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Aline Houlk; son, William L. Houlk Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Maureen Kendrick, Melissa (Steve) Gayton and Melanie Swain; son, William "Shorty" Houlk; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Cecil) Williams and Marlene (Robert) Patterson. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at Ooltewah Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, for a graveside service for Mr. Houlk with Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.
