LaFAYETTE Miss Mary Kathryn Thomas, 71, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014. Miss. Thomas is preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Louise Thomas Denton, John, George, Carl and Raymond Thomas. Miss Thomas is survived by a brother, Gene (Martha) Thomas, of Summerville, Ga.; one brother-in-law, Mr. Hugh Denton, of LaFayette. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Lisa Gilbert, Phyllis Thomas, Steve Thomas Vickie Shields, Jamie Thomas, Brian Thomas, Michael Tucker, Teresa Thomas, Kathy Forrester and Lana Ellington. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the Mount Carmel Cemetery with the service conducted by Dr. Todd Gaddis. Family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the funeral home. WallisWilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette in charge of the arrangements.
