Mary Adams

Mary Catherine Brown Adams, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Isabelle Sanders-Brown. She was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School and was baptized at St. Rita's Catholic Church. She worked at RCA for 15 years then went on to work as a private nanny for several years. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was a kind woman and was willing to help or do anything for anyone. Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Isabelle Brown; brothers, James A. and John W. Brown; sisters, Roberta M. Brown-Hall and Ida Mae Hall. She leaves to cherish her memory; brother, Joe (Mable) Brown; sister, Mary Bobbie Brown McDonald; son, Marcus (Beverly) Adams Sr.; six grandchildren, Shane (Derrick) Natt, Audrea (Raymond) Lowery, Marcus (Brittney) Adams, Jr., Joshua, Jeremiah and Joy; six great-grandchildren, Kiara, Derrick Jr., Jonathan, Mason, Raymond Jr. and Alyssa; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
