Martha Harp

Martha Harp, of Chattanooga, passed away at sunrise on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was the former co-owner of Fannys Antiques and Fancies and was a lifelong United Methodist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raleigh and Cora Mae Alexander; brothers, Raleigh Alexander Jr. and William Alexander; and sister, Mary Ellen Gray. Survivors include her husband, John T. Harp; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Eugene Long, M.D.; son, Tom Harp; granddaughters, Cora, Lydia and Abby; brother, Harold Alexander; and several nieces and nephews. Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. until the service hour in the funeral home. Special thanks to Larry Schlabach, M.D., Sherry Jackson and the wonderful nurses for the care they gave our Mother during her illness.
