Sue Webb

Sue Webb, 83, widow of James Lee "Jason" Webb, formerly of Tellico Plains, passed away 1:45 a.m. Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Hospice of Chattanooga. Member of Beatys Chapel Baptist Church, Tellico Plains, attended Brainerd Baptist Church, Chattanooga. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Bernella Taylor, Dalton, Ga., Bonnie and Todd Hammond, Lori and Wendell Roden, all of Ringgold; sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin and Barbara Taylor, Silsbee, Texas, Alfred "Pete" and Patsy Taylor, Resaca, Ga.; stepchildren, June Hendrix, Venda Morrow, both of Chatsworth, Ga., Thelma Harrison, Seymour, Marilyn Dickens, Carolyn Anderson, both of Canton, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Freeman, Delsie White; brothers, Ronald, Jason and Junior Kirkland, all of Tellico Plains, Jessie Kirkland, Madisonville; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Mollie Buckner Kirkland; sisters, Eva Plemons, Arlene Graves. Funeral 6 p.m. today in the Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Kevin Hall and Rev. Mark Coffee officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday at Beatys Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. today at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
