Melba Hart

Robbie Melba Hart, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. She was a Christian and a member of the Tiftonia Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Reece; mother, Myrtle Moore Reece; sisters, Edna Earl Culpepper, Gwendolyn Reece; and brother, Ledonn Reece. Survivors include her daughter, Sherron (Dickie) Crabtree, Long Island, Ala.; son Jerry (Sandi) Hart, Jensen Beach, Fla.; grandchildren Joey Hart, Mandi (Jeremiah) Dockery, Dawn Roberts, Alex Shaw and CC Shaw; great-grandchildren Katie Gass, Justice Hart, Houston Hart, Ryder Dockery, Michael Roberts and Matthew Roberts; nieces Brenda Moon and Marchetta (Dave) Dean; nephew Darryl Reece; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. EDT Tuesday in the Bryant Chapel with Pastor Mark Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. EDT Monday and noon-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Bryant Chapel.
