James Miller

James "Jimmy" Henry Miller Jr., 56, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. He served in the US Army and was employed by River City Plastics. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harnitha Austin; and father, James Henry Miller. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Cecilia Miller; and son, Jimmy Miller; sisters, Linda Long, Christie Miller; brothers, Antoine (Nicholas) Austin, Peter Greer; 13 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, in the Chapel. Interment in National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
