Paul Mitchel

l John "Paul" Mitchell, 84, of Red Bank, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. He was of the Church of God faith. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, and he retired from Dixie Yarns after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include his loving wife, Alma Yates Mitchell, of Red Bank; son, Gary (Anita) Mitchell, of Soddy-Daisy, brothers, Jack and Newt Mitchell; one special sister-in-law, Mildred Traffanstedt; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Feb. 5, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wilburn Hardyman officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
