Sandra Pickett

Sandra May Pickett, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at her residence. She graduated from Whitwell High School, and was retired from BlueCross BlueShield. Sandra loved gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and was known as the best "Nana" in the world. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack B. May. Survivors are her husband Horace T. Pickett; sons, Tony (Danielle) Pickett; Steve (Tina) Pickett; five grandchildren,; Logan, Ashlyn, Landon, Autumn and Alyse Pickett; mother, Lois May; sisters, Linda Smith and Carol Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
