Ronald Mitchell Sr.

Ronald "Ron" Mitchell Sr., 69, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Shelley and Jeanette McCormick Mitchell; brothers, Jack and Larry Mitchell. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Delores Mitchell, of Ringgold; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristy and Chris Wallace, Sonja and Joe Cauthen, all of LaFayette; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Jina Mitchell Jr., of Independence, Mo.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Danny Bowman, of LaFayette, Faye and James Gilreath, of Cloudland, Ga.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with Brother David Thompson officiating. Interment: LaFayette Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday.
