Barbara Davis

Barbara Jean Turner Davis, 77, of East Ridge, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014. She was born in Daus, Tenn., to the late Brown N. and Lella Lea Smith Turner and lived most of her life in the Chattanooga/Rossville area. Barbara was a member of Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed greatly. Barbara is survived by her children, Rickey (Sue Ellen) Bennett, of East Ridge, David Bennett, of Colorado, and Cindy (Steven) Boss, of Rossville; siblings, Loretta Kelley and James Turner; grandchildren, Jenny Boss, McKenzie Kirby and Betsy Vanzant; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Shad Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
