Catherine Cosper

Catherine Louise Cosper, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. She was a homemaker and member of Lookout Valley Seniors and Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, Mamaw and devoted to her family. She loved working in her yard, cooking and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Cosper; and parents, Charles and Esther Winters; two sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include her loving family, daughters, Peggy Cosper Gilley, Joan (Joe) Fryar and Debbie (Eddie) Cannon; sister, Betty Ann Rogers; brother, Clarence (Buddy) Winters; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Bryan, Allison, Emily and Noah; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Sunday Feb. 16, 2014, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Darren Rogers officiating. Interment will be held in Lakewood Memory Gardens Cemetery, West, Lookout Valley. Visitation will be held 2~8 p.m. today and 11 a.m.~ 2 p.m. Sunday.
