Flora McCrary

Flora Kathryn "Kathy" McCrary, 87, of Hixson, formerly of Nashville, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. Kathy was born Sept. 13, 1926, in Humphreys County, to Price L. and Molly Briggs McCrary. She attended Business College in Nashville and got a job with the Veterans Administration where she worked for 40 years until her retirement in 1986. Kathy is survived by her sister, Esther M. Wold, of San Anselmo, Calif.; brother, Price L. McCrary, his wife, Carolyn; and niece, Nancy McCrary, of Hixson; nephew, James P. McCrary (Becky), of Birmingham, Ala.; great-nephews, Bob Sparks and Jeffrey Jones, of Hixson; and great-niece, Charlotte McCrary, of Birmingham.
