Mary Brooks

Mary Brooks, 88, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 in a local health care facility. She retired from American National/SunTrust Bank where she served as an administrative assistant to the executives of the bank. She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Brooks Sr. She was preceded in death by her sisters Bettye Jo Brooks and Grace Bruce and brothers Ray L. Brooks, James W. Brooks Jr., Donald Brooks Sr., Charles E. Brooks, and John H. Brooks. She was a loving Aunt and is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Mason officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga.
