Patricia Letson

Patricia Moore Letson, 80, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. Born in Dora, Alabama September 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late J. Harris and Mae Moore and was a graduate of McAdory High School Class of 1951. She was a wonderful mother, homemaker and a teacher of special education for several years and was a member of the Grace Community Church in Cleveland, Tenn. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years Neil Letson; three children Lynn (Henry) Lewis, Ben (Keiko) Letson and Melanie (Mike) Ozborn; six grandchildren, John (Sarah) Lewis, Samuel (Sara) Lewis, George and Maggie Ozborn, Naomi and Paul Letson; Lisa McMillan (Mark), Sam Ozborn, great-grandson, Gavin Ozborn; sister, Annette Waters of Hueytown, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Mendel and Ann Blackburn officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday in Moore Cemetery in McCalla, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. til the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen or to the Chattanooga Room in the Inn.
