Shea Long

Shea Aaron Long, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. He was 33 years old. Shea attended Sequoyah Vocation School and was employed with Laynes Equipment Co. as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Elizabeth Duggan. Shea is survived by his wife, Makiesha Long; father, Carl Long; mother; Venita Anderson; stepmother, Stephanie Long; daughter, Lacey; son, Bryson; grandparents, Ann and Dan Norris; and several sisters, stepbrothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 16, and again on Monday, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Services for Shea will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
