Etta Bowman

Steveta Heiss "Etta" Bowman, 57, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. She was a loving wife and mother. "I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations". Psalm 89:1. She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Dora Heiss. Survivors include her husband, Milford Bowman Jr., of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Emily Bowman, of Hixson; brothers, Kenneth (Joy) Heiss and Paul (Martina) Heiss; sisters, Janice (Marvin) Francisco, Denise Heiss and Sandra (John) Flerl, all of Soddy-Daisy; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dana Gravitt and Rev. Aaron Britt officiating.
