Ethleen Burt

Ethleen Debter Burt, 88, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 1, 2014, in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a graduate of Fort Payne High School and a member of Trenton Church of God. Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Shelton Burt; parents, Leslie and Clyde Debter; two sisters, Hazel Elmore and Shirley (Max) Burgess; brother, Carthel Debter; brother-in-law, Herman Elmore; sister-in-law, Ruth Debter; and nephew, Timothy Elmore. Surviving Mrs. Burt are daughter, Danette (Phillip) Dawson, Trenton; granddaughter, Leslie (Stephen) Gossett, Trenton, Nicholas Dawson, Trenton; great-granddaughter, Katie Ann Dawson, Trenton; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Jan. 3, 2013, in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Melvin Dawson officiating.
