Robert Powell

Robert Lewis Powell, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. He was a 4 year U.S. Air Force Veteran who loved playing the guitar, an animal lover, and a lifelong resident of Dade County, and loved socializing with his friends at Trenton McDonalds. He was preceded in death by his father John Denton Powell; mother Dora Tinker; step-father Wiley C. Tinker. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Ida Powell; sister Joyce Gray; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; six step-grandchildren; host of friends. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.
