Connie Reeves

Connie Ragan Reeves, 65, of Signal Mountain, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Conner and Katherine Ragan. After graduation from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Administration, she taught at Soddy-Daisy High School. Following that she was a legal assistant in Houston, Dallas and New Orleans. She was a lifelong Presbyterian and a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Conner and Katherine Ragan; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Venova Reeves. Survivors: her husband of 39 years, Jarrell Allen Reeves; brother and sister-in-law, Randy L. and Sandy Ragan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Barry E. and Ruth Ann Reeves; two nephews, Barry Allen Reeves and Erik Reed Ragan; one niece Kelly Ragan. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace. Funeral services will be private.
