LaFAYETTE Dennis Ray Penson, 21, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Elswick Sr. Survived by mother, Sandra Penson, of LaFayette; sisters, Tammy Carter, of Fort Oglethorpe, Tina Payne of LaFayette and Selena Mamirez, of Chatsworth; brothers, Jim Ed Penson, Jerry Penson, Bobby Elswick, Johnny Elswick and Paul Elswick Jr., all of LaFayette and Alex Mamirez, of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Service from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Monday at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Brody Blackwell officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
