Ressie Neighbors

Ressie E. Neighbors, 75, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. She was a member of Soddy-Daisy First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Neighbors; and son, Tim Neighbors. Survivors include her sons, Jackie (Judy) Neighbors and Larry (Amy) Neighbors; daughter, Rosa (Lynn) Lingerfelt; brothers, Charles Rigsby and Raymond Rigsby; sisters, Johnnie Rigsby, Ruby Rigsby and Virginia White; grandchildren, Misty Lingerfelt, Jeremy Lingerfelt; Joe Neighbors, Josh Neighbors, Brittany Neighbors and Amber Neighbors; great-grandchildren, Makenzie Lingerfelt, Melina and Amila Neighbors; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Jackie Penney officiating. Burial will follow at Poe Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital at www.StJude.org.
