Tom Reagan

Thomas D. "Tom" Reagan, 72, of Ooltewah, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Thomas Howard and Hazel Freeman Reagan and was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert Reagan. Tom was a graduate of Blantons Business College in Asheville, N.C., and was employed for many years in truck sales and leasing. He was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church and was active in the Vic Myers Sunday School Class and the Ralph Pennington Mens Prayer Breakfast Group. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Rachael Mills Reagan; son, Roger Reagan, of Ooltewah; daughter, Carol (Larry) Hill, of Knoxville; three grandsons, Wilson Reagan, Griffin Reagan, Thomas Hill; granddaughter, Lauren Hill, brother, Gerald (Arlene) Reagan, Whittier, N.C.; sister, Linda Reagan, Sylva, N.C.; brother-in-law, Thad (Barbara) Mills, Seattle, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Tyner United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlie Harrison and Dr. Buddy Nichols officiating. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all the doctors and nurses who have shown such kindness and love during his struggle. Tom will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
