Lisa Mitchell

Lisa Boydston Mitchell, 50, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at her home. She was a 1981 graduate of East Ridge High School, she attended Erlanger Nursing School and she graduated from Dalton State Nursing School in 1984. Lisa was also a former employee of 84 Lumber. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewell Boydston. Survivors include husband, E. Hal Mitchell Jr.; son, E. Hal "Tripp" Mitchell III; daughter, Samantha Mitchell (Micah) Hughes; father, Lee Boydston; brother, Terry (Emily) Boydston; nephew, Jason Boydston and an aunt, Chris Helms Foster. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with the Honorable Sam Payne and Dr. Herschel Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
