James Moore Jr.

James Lee Moore Jr., 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, in a local hospital. He retired from Brenntag MidSouth Inc. and was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leila Moore Sr. Survivors include his sons, Lavaier Hudson Sr., Frederick Moore, and Jerome D. (Latoya) Moore; daughters, Sonya Mills, all of Chattanooga and Jasmine Honeysucker, of Clearwater, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie (Gracelia) Moore and Calvin (Yolanda) Moore; sister, Carolyn Moore, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Fannie Matthews of Huntsville, Ala.; dear cousin, Anna Doyle; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state after 12:30 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home and a family hour from 6-7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Adams Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
