Ralph Fisher

William "Ralph" Fisher, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and attended Oakwood Baptist Church. Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korean War. He owned and operated Fishers Paint, Body and Frame Shop. Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by parents, William and Johnnie Fisher; brothers, Howard Eugene Fisher and Richard Shelton Fisher. Survivors are daughter, Marcia (Jeff) Teeters, Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Doyle Fisher, Ashland, Ala.; sister, Bettye Jo Fisher Baggett, great-niece, Abrigail (Derek Craig Delaney); great-nephew, Kevin Fisher; great-great-nephew, Gabriel Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joseph Hardin officiating. Interment will be in Burning Bush Baptist Church Cemetery.
