Cartress Alexander

Cartress Alexander, of Chattanooga, passed away Dec. 28, 2013, in Mesa, Ariz. He was formerly employed by Erlanger. Cartress was born Jan. 21, 1952. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ollie Riley; brothers, Anthony "Tony" Calhoun and Chuck Davis Sr.; father, Ted Alexander. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Calhoun; sister, Theresa Davis; brother, Andre (Sherita) Alexander; nephews, Dereck Edwards and Chuck Davis Jr.; along with other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 3704 Sumter Ave. after the services. Arrangements are by Angels Funeral Home, Mesa, Ariz.
