Ruby Goodwin

Ruby Blevins Goodwin, 78, East Ridge went to be with her Lord in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014. She was a member of the former Boulevard Baptist Church in East Ridge. She will be remembered best for her passion, love and devotion to her family. Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Bill Goodwin; children, Susie Waller, David (Charmaine) Goodwin all of East Ridge, Debbie (Tab) Barrow, Chattanooga and Rob (Carrie) Goodwin, Ooltewah; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brent Baughman officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. The family will receive friends today from 4-8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
