Wendell Wyrick

Wendell Curtis Wyrick, 71, went to be with His Lord Saturday Morning, Jan. 18, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the Rossville area and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, VFW Post 3679 Fort Oglethorpe, a veteran of the Viet Nam War, and the Hardee's Old Coggards, and avid Georgia Bulldog Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Virvie Wofford Wyrick; Mother-in-law, Mama Logan. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cleo Diane Logan Wyrick; three sisters, Nancy (J.W) Adams, Cleveland, Ga., Joyce Tudor, Hixson, Judy Huffman, Live Oak, Fla.; two brothers, Edward Lavon Wyrick, Harrison, Tenn., Donald (Elizabeth) Wyrick, Hixson; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie (Beverly) Logan, Bobbie Taylor, of Rock Springs; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday Jan. 21, from 1-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Ft. Oglethorpe with services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam Riggs and Reverend Leroy Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee - Georgia Memorial Park.
