Willie Scott

Willie Mae Scott, 92, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at a local healthcare facility. She was a lifelong resident of Rossville and member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Willie worked at Peerless Woolen Mills for many years before retiring from Borg Fabric. She was a member of Sunnyside Eastern Star. Willies husband, of 70 years, John Scott, preceded her in death by nine days. Survivors are her daughters, Phyllis (Paul) Rouse, Rossville, Bobbie (Butch) Scott, Rossville; grandchildren, John (Glenda) Rouse, Scott Rouse, Tisa Lindsey, Tiaa (Greg) Payne and Tim (Kyra) Dupree; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ariel, Jordan, Cameron, Taylor, Buddy, Tyler and Lyndsay; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Rouse and Rev. Brian Kurtz officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
