Elaine Nix

Elaine Cooksey Nix, 57, died on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. Elaine had attended Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church. She worked as a telecommunications services coordinator for the Hamilton County government. She loved gardening and treasured the time she spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mary Cooksey. Survivors are her husband of 20 years, Blane Nix; sons, Phillip Kerlin and Cody (Jenna) Nix; daughters, Stephanie (Alan) Lewis and Dallas (Kyle) Roebling; grandchildren, Tanner, Tommy, Tyler and Conner. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway. Burial will be at Garmany Cemetery.
